Welcome to the project that took me 5yrs to complete (i started in 2020).
Atinú is a conlang, more specifically an auxlang which was designed to be easy to learn and use in literature, poetry, music, etc.
It has its own pseudo-history, culture, writing system, and philosophy... kinda like any natural language.
Main roots of it are PIE, proto-germanic, latin, japanese, and various other languages :P
Pseudo-history
It originates from a small nomadic tribe called the Atinitose (literally: Atinú humans) that lived near modern-day germany, switzerland, and italy.
They were mainly poets that traveled around the world to perform for food and other necessities.
Eventually, they travel to asia, and incorporate many of the languaes and philosophies they encounter into their own language.
People who usually left the nomadic life and settled down developed a slight accent (settler's accent) which had the sounds /t d f v/ unlike the nomads
Who used /t̪ d̪ ɸ β/ instead.
So if you want to sound more sophisticated, use the nomadic accent, otherwise the settler's accent is fine.
Thats about it :P
Philosophy
The main thing about Atinú is that it only has 190 or so roots!
However, the gender/noun-class system has 3 forms, xert (heart/abstract/root), oso (animate/alive), and śuk (inanimate/dead).
Changing the gender of a root along with context can change the meaning drastically, for example:
sakan: to fish, to be like fish, peaceful, wise
sakano: fish, marine life
sakanuk: dead fish, foolish being (insult)
This is supposed show the cycle between life and death, and how it is a constant cycle, spinning like a wheel :P
Yes i know... very yin-yang... dont make fun of me -w- hehehe
One more thing is that no word has a concrete meaning(?), you just know what it vaguely represents, and the way you structure the sentence.
The context of the conversation will be deciding factor for the actual meaning of the words.
Sort of the fluidity that could help with poetry, and also similar to the philosophy of "goin with the flow" lol.
